A bit about Goodwill
Goodwill of Greater Washington offers a wide range of high-quality used clothing, furniture, and household items at great prices. They have nine retail locations in the DC-area which provide funding for job training and employment services to people with disadvantages and disabilities. Goodwill also recently began recycling computers and computer equipment in any condition. Goodwill often refers to itself as the “original recycler”, since it has been giving people a second chance at life by recycling and selling donated goods since 1902. If you have any items that have outgrown your home, donate them to Goodwill. Check out www.dcgoodwill.org.

How Goodwill is Green
Shopping at Goodwill is a great way to reduce, reuse and recycle! When you buy gently used items from Goodwill stores you're reducing the need for producing new items and reusing the items you purchase.
Why we think Goodwill is great
Not only is Goodwill environmentally responsible, but their programs are socially responsible too! Their mission is to educate, train, employ and place people who have disabilities and disadvantages.
