A bit about The Reef
Located in the heart of Adams Morgan, The Reef is dedicated to green living. Their menu features organically-grown seasonal vegetables, free-range poultry and meats, fair-catch seafood, honest flavors and satisfying meals at great prices. With their rotating menu, The Reef showcases vegetables and fruits of the season, grown without toxic pesticides and fertilizers. The Reef is committed to serving only certified sustainable seafood—fish and shellfish that are not endangered, and are responsibly caught or farmed in an ecologically-friendly way. A local favorite for great dinners, meeting up with friends, or watching the sunset over DC from the roof deck, The Reef now offers even more incentive to come on in and grab a table.

How The Reef is Green
The Reef is committed to being as sustainable as possible. They only serve beer from kegs to eliminate waste from beer bottles. All of the food they serve is sustainably grown, raised and harvested to reduce their agricultural impact and provide the best quality product to their customers. Also, all of the fish in their fish tanks were acquired sustainably!
Why we think The Reef is great
Not only is the food and beer delicious, but it’s also a fun place! The roofdeck has an amazing view of Washington, DC and they have weekly trivia night and a karaoke night. You can also shake what your mamma gave you on their dance floor, too!
