A bit about Park Florist
Park Florist is a truly eco-friendly flower shop in Takoma Park. All of their flowers are Veriflora certified, ensuring that they are eco-friendly and fair trade throughout the supply chain. Not only are their designs beautiful, but you can feel good knowing that they are sustainable, too. Park Florist also offers monthly floral design workshops with a seasonal theme like holiday centerpieces or Mother’s Day arrangements.

How Park Florist is Green
Park Florist is a green business from their operations to the supply chain of their product. They run on 100% wind power, recycle cardboard and compost flower cuttings. They also have Energy Star refrigerators and work to improve energy efficiency throughout the store. All flowers are Veriflora certified, a program that requires farmers convert to organic pest management practices and ensures ecosystem and water quality protection in the growing process. Veriflora also ensures that the workers, farmers and all parts of the supply chain are treated fairly.

Park Florist has amazing customer service. Sending mom some flowers? Just ask, and they’ll email you a photo of the arrangement before it is delivered. Now that’s what we call service! They are also a big part of the Takoma Park community, supporting local schools, hospitals, and the fire department.
