How Greener Travel is Green
They take the environment seriously, and plan their trips in accordance with the guidelines of eco-tourism: minimizing environmental damage through low impact travel, supporting local environmental projects and indigenous communities, and learning about the culture and natural environment of the places visited.
Why we think Greener Travel is great
They not only promote eco-tourism and endorse it, but they also plan fun and creative activities that have little to no carbon footprint. Adventure activities include hiking, rafting, and zip-lining ans snorkeling - all of which don’t interfere with local eco-systems or harm the environment. All activities are well planned and entertaining. Activities include Caribbean cooking classes, visiting local indigenous peoples and participating in service projects, visiting an animal rescue center and a chocolate tour.
